Mr & Mrs Baggot had a very small 3 piece bathroom consisting of a bath / shower mixer, vanity basin unit and matching WC unit. The bath also housed a shower mixer but due to the location of the bath & window it was placed on the side wall of the bath and enclosed with a bi-folding glass screen which didn’t fully mould to the curve of the bath. On the whole the existing suite hadn’t been very well designed and as a result didn’t lend itself to the available space.
Due to the size of the room the only plausible solution was to turn the bathroom into a shower room and relocate the key fixtures. Although removing a bath from the main house bathroom can seem a daunting prospect there was no other alternative especially if the couple really wanted to make the most of available space.
Following a presentation of alternatives Mr & Mrs Baggot decided a shower solution was the best way forward and with that began working with Paul, More Bathrooms Surveyor & Designer, to fully understand what shower would work best for them and their home.
Time spent discussing the alternative shower options and relocation of the remaining fixtures was time very well spent. The once very small and claustrophobic bathroom was transformed into a space creating shower room which consisted of a large low level shower enclosure, back-to-wall closed coupled WC and modern vanity basin unit. The room was fully tiled in a light brown / cream detailing and finished off with chrome accessories and large illuminated mirror.
“Just a note to say a big thank you for our new bathroom – what a transformation! We cannot praise Paul, our workman, enough for his hard work over two weeks.
Also thank you to Paul our planner for sourcing all materials and making it all come together so well. Would highly recommend More Bathrooms to anyone.”
