Mr & Mrs Lewis, Cookridge, Leeds, West Yorkshire - a warm & inviting 4-piece bath / shower room

25 November 2015

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Lewis had a tired, off grey, 3 piece bathroom suite consisting of an enclosed bath and separate shower enclosure with high step, and pedestal basin. The existing bathroom was fully tiled with vinyl flooring but was in need of a little TLC due to age and use. The room was also relatively large in size meaning the room didn’t feel over claustrophobic however the couple were hoping to include a toilet within their refurbishment making it a 4 piece suite.

Solution:

Having initially visited, seen & spoke to Nigel (More Bathrooms Surveyor & Designer) in our Showroom Mr & Mrs Lewis felt comfortable in inviting us into their home as they were confident in our ability and service offering to deliver their dream bathroom. The existing suite was in need of a little love and attention for sure however the main priority, aside from making it look great, was the incorporation of a WC, turning this 3-piece earie bathroom into a warm and inviting 4 piece relaxing sanctuary.

In order to fit the new fixture in without over cramping the room Nigel proposed moving the bath to along the wall under the window, carefully considering the room required when existing the new low level shower enclosure which wasn’t to be moved. This then left adequate space to the left of the bathroom (from entry) to house the back to wall WC & a new vanity basin unit, chosen for the additional storage solution. The new suite was finished off in a pale green and grey tile selection to the wall & floor enhancing the modern look and feel.

Outcome:

A once tired and weary 3 piece bathroom suite was transformed into a warm and cosy 4 piece bath & shower room that, due to design & layout, felt more spacious, even with extra fixtures in situ. The attention to detail given to the colour schemes opened up the space, providing a ‘breathe of fresh air’ look and feel.

"Many thanks to everyone at More Bathrooms & Passmore's for our wonderful new bathroom.

We immediately felt comfortable the first time we arrived at the Showroom and met Nigel, who was very helpful and so patient with us. Special thanks to Chris, our fitter, who worked so hard to bring the project together and on time - we would also like to thank Mark & Richard who worked with Chris.
