Mr & Mrs Potter, Tinshill, Leeds, West Yorkshire - a minimalistically modern en-suite shower room

21 December 2015

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Potter had a compact 3 piece en-suite shower room off the main bedroom that was indeed of a little TLC. Although the fixtures were in good working condition the room had become outdated and needed a design-led refurbishment. Due to the size of the room careful consideration had to be given with regards to being able to make the most of available space in terms of product choice and location of such fixtures.

Solution:

The existing suite detailed a back-to-wall WC, single vanity basin unit and a curved corner shower enclosure with tiling to the floor and shower area. The size and shape of the room meant relocating new fixtures wasn’t an option and therefore product choice had to lend itself to the available space.

Moving forward it was agreed a wall hung WC was to be the toilet fixture of choice due to the modern / minimalistic look and feel. Furthermore a vanity basin unit was also decided due to the opportune storage it provide and brought together with a full length, wall to wall enclosed wet floor shower. Although space was an issue any room that would have been left at the foot of a corner / square shower fixture would be deemed ‘dead space’ and with that it was thought best to make the most of the showering experience and go big and luxurious.

Outcome:

A fully tiled, chrome finished, en-suite shower room that was brought back to life and reinvented following careful consideration of available space and fixture choice. The renovated suite was minimalistically modern in its appearance yet functionally enjoyable in use – a fantastic en-suite refurbishment.

what mr & mrs potters said about more bathrooms:

“Andy Fisher was excellent. Took his time and delivered a quality product. When we have our bathroom done by your company, I do hope Andy fits it.”
