Problem

Mrs. Meldrum was keen to refurbish her family bathroom, which was dark and dated and consisted of a bath with an overhead shower, a double basin, and WC underneath the bathroom window.

Solution

Mrs. Meldrum started her research online, to narrow down her choices of companies that could deliver a fully project-managed design and installation service. Discovering More Bathrooms, she proceeded to book a free design appointment.

Senior Designer Angela visited Mrs. Meldrum’s home to discuss the project in detail, survey the existing bathroom, and offer her expertise in bathroom design.

With a few ideas for the new design, Mrs Meldrum articulated how she wanted to make better use of the space and, if possible, for the new design to include a separate bath and shower. Mrs Meldrum also wanted to explore her options for tiling and make the dark space open and bright, while for the design to present a combination of modern and traditional bathroom styles.

Taking all these points on board, Angela used to extensive design knowledge and experience to create a concept that ticked all of Mrs Meldrum’s boxes, with the proposed design consisting of a free-standing bath, a curved shower cubicle, a new basin and WC, and an array of modern bathroom finishing touches.

Delighted with the process so far, Mrs Meldrum was invited to our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom for a design presentation whereby she would be presented with CAD visuals, a detailed quote for the proposed bathroom design and have the guidance from Angela in choosing her bathroom finishing touches. A seamless and enjoyable experience, Mrs Meldrum was thrilled with all aspects of her journey so far and proceeded to place an order with us.

Modern Bathroom Installation

Mrs Meldrum’s stunning 4-piece modern bathroom design was fit by our multi-skilled fitter Graham.

The stunning bathroom consisted of a white curved free-standing bath, and to keep to the white colour scheme, a comfort height WC, and a separate curved shower with sliding doors.

Striking grey bathroom tiles were applied to the floor, with a complimentary grey wall–hung vanity basin also installed. To finish the design a modern full-length wall-hung radiator was installed.

Outcome

A spacious bathroom was completely refurbished and transformed into a beautiful 4-piece Modern Family bathroom, fit with stunning white, grey, and gold contemporary features.
