Problem

Mr. Elsmore had been thinking of a few refurbishments in his apartment, with the main areas being the bathroom and ensuite.

The main bathroom consisted of a bath, toilet, and other bathroom necessities that make a bathroom design. Wanting the modernise the existing space, he set out to find the right company that could help him achieve the dream bathroom he desired.

Solution

Searching on the internet Mr Elmsore came across our Yorkshire-based bathroom brand More Bathrooms and set out to gather more information to see if we were the right company to help guide him through the bathroom renovation.

Mr Elsmore came into our spectacular Harrogate Bathroom Showroom and was greeted by our Showroom Consultant Leanne. He explained to Leanne that he had come to the showroom, after finding us online and saw that we offered a fully project-managed service, and were local. So, with him looking to refurbish his bathroom and ensuite, he wanted to gather more information.

Leanne guided Mr Elsmore around the showroom and showed him some of the bathroom designs that were there so he could gather some ideas.

She also informed Mr Elsmore of the process of our full design and fit service and how we deliver complete peace of mind. He also came to know of our 60-year heritage of delivering bathroom installations and how More Bathrooms sits as a brand underneath the family-orientated business Passmore Group.

Delighted with the information he had received, he wanted to be scheduled for a free design appointment.

Our experienced Senior Designer Angela visited Mr. Elsmore and before they sat down for an in-depth conversation about the new designs, she took some measurements of the existing bathroom and ensuite concepts.

Deciding to focus on the main bathroom initially, the two of them then sat down and Mr Elsmore explained to Angela that no changes had been made to the bathroom since he moved into the apartment. Wanting to make improvements to the design and modernise, Mr Elsmore wanted Angela’s advice and ideas on the new concept.

The bathroom was limited for space, both Angela and Mr Elsmore agreed that it was better to keep the layout of the bathroom the same and to retain the existing bath for the new design.

Angela proposed a Modern bathroom design with aesthetically pleasing fixtures. The design features included a fitted unit with an integrated basin, WC, and storage, and as part of the new design, Angela proposed fully tiling the room.

Mr Elsmore was delighted with the design ideas that Angela had presented him with. She had managed to deliver our full design and fit service and had come up with a stunning design proposal.

Keen to continue with the process, Mr Elsmore was given a budget cost for the bathroom and Angela invited him for a second appointment at our Harrogate Bathroom showroom, where she would present CAD visuals to help Mr. Elsmore envision how his new bathroom would look completed.

During the showroom presentation, Mr Elsmore was delighted with his CAD’s and assisted further by Angela in helping him choose his final bathroom finishing touches that would complete the bathroom design.

When they had finished ironing out the final design fixtures, Angela updated his detailed quote to include all choices and Mr Elsmore proceeded to place an order with us.

Angela behind the design: - Both Mr Elsmore and I came to an early agreement that the design of the bathroom would be a replacement for taking out the old features for the new. The thinking behind the design was to make it as modern and attractive as possible and I think that was achieved, especially with the contrasting tiling with a marble effect finish.

The small bathroom was completely stripped out by our multi-skilled fitter Mark and transformed into a beautiful modern bathroom design.

Replacing the basin, a fitted blue semi-recessed storage unit was installed providing Mr Elsmore a place to display and store away his bathroom toiletries.

The run of fitted furniture had a basin and comfort height toilet integrated as part of the design, concealing all the pipework, and truly defining the modern design.

Adding to the design, a beautiful luca taupe with a marble effect finish was fit on the side of the retained bath’s panel and on the wall next to the bath giving the bathroom a luxurious and contrasting finish.

Matching the marble effect, spectacular cream tiles were fit around the rest of the bathroom wall and floor, with a tall wall-hung radiator completing the bathroom refurbishment.

Mr Elsmore’s bathroom had been completely transformed from the existing design into an astonishing modern design with luxury finishes.
