Wet Room Case Study | Bradford | West Yorkshire

Published: 6 August 2015

Problem:

Mr Mooc had an existing 3 piece en-suite shower room that due to a leak he was unable to use. The secondary washing facilities in Mr Mooc’s home were a great addition, complimenting the main bathroom which didn’t house a shower function. When the leak started Mr Mooc and his family were unable to use the shower room meaning they no longer had the facilities to meet the requirements of an early morning get up and go / quick shower and change. Mr Mooc was keen to get a solution and quickly.

Solution:

It was made increasingly clear from the get go that Mr Mooc’s existing shower room was to stay as a shower room. The family home was a busy one and the secondary washing facilities in the form of a shower was of high importance – made even more so when they lost its use.

Main criteria’s were chosen however the style and designs of specifics were still to be addressed. Mr Mooc had an existing shower cubicle however More Bathrooms surveyor & design, Nigel Dawson, wanted to open the family up to the idea of a stylish & ultra-modern fully tiled wet room accompanied by a corner basin & closed couple, fully backed to wall WC.

Outcome:

In essence the completed job could be described as a refurbishment swap ‘a shower room face lift’. Everything had been replaced and put back in the same location but how they were put back and the products, styles and designs used is what made this project great. Mr Mooc was left with a statement, fully tiled wet room that screamed style, luxury and latest trend - even the corner basin was chiseled with cutting edge design leaving the Moocs’ truly elated with the finished suite.

what mr mooc said about more bathrooms:

“Thank you so much for my lovely wet room – a job very well done. All credit to your fitter, Darren, who ensured virtually no disruption to me.”
