Walk-In Shower Case Study | Wakefield | West Yorkshire

Published: 21 June 2016

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Kinsey had recently moved into a new property and as a result wanted to renovate their bathroom, along with other key home improvements, in order to make their home their own. Upon contacting More Bathrooms Mr & Mrs Kinsey had already made a start on this statement room by means of ripping out what was already in situ meaning our Surveyor had a totally blank canvas to work with.

Solution:

Upon visiting the property More Bathrooms Surveyor & Designer, Andy Keir, quickly became aware of what the job at hand entailed. A well-researched and knowledgably couple, Mr & Mrs Kinsey knew exactly what they wanted the refurbishment works to achieve however the detail was in the design with regards to layout & location, final fixture choice and the all-important finishing touches.

Having discussed their main requirements the couple made it abundantly clear that they had no interest in bathing amenities as both preferred to shower and wanted to explore their options for a large luxury shower fitting. Andy proposed an array of possibilities however the couple fell in love with a large walk-in shower concept that would really open up the room and give it that ‘wow’ factor they were looking for.

Outcome:

The finished walk-in shower room was bright and spacious thanks to Andy’s clever design and influential selection of wall and floor coverings. The large glass shower screen enabled light to bounce around the room, creating space and making it feel larger than it was. The shower area & floor was fully tiled in the same neutrally large ceramic which helped add depth to the room and catch the eyes attention, drawing it to the statement, luxuriously large, walk-in shower.

What mr & mrs Kinsey said about more bathrooms:

"Excellent refurbishment work to our walk-in shower room. So pleased with the finished project that we have now placed the order for our Kitchen.”
