En-Suite Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Published: 12 June 2019

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Woodruff had an existing en-suite shower room that featured a square enclosure, pedestal basin and a closed couple WC.

Plain in appearance the cream 3 piece suite was part tiled with magnolia paint to the remaining walls.

In need of a modern update the couple’s biggest requirement was the incorporation of sufficient amounts of storage.

Solution:

Having visited our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom in the first instance both Mr & Mrs Woodruff had a good idea of what they wanted the renovation of their en-suite to achieve. Impressed by our full service offering and the varied displays in the showroom they booked a free design appointment whereby Surveyor and Designer Andy visited their property to discuss the works in more detail and measure the existing suite.

Meeting the couple of site Andy talked through the options available to them with regards to achieving their main requirement of incorporating storage and came up with a number of clever ways to include this in the renovation while maximising the available space.

Outcome:

Limited on where the key fixtures could be located all items went back in there original place. Working closely to the customer brief Andy incorporated an adequately sized vanity basin unit and tall storage cupboard.

Similarly, and exploring all the options available to them, Andy expertly added a back to wall WC unit that featured a housing compartment in the cistern casing and a complimentary overhead cupboard.

With so much furniture now in the room Andy proposed a low-level corner entry shower enclosure which would maximise the accessibility of the wet area. Part tiled in a modern slate grey with wood effect tiling to the floor the existing en-suite was now a contemporary shower room that achieved the customers design requirements.
