Walk-In Shower Case Study | York | North Yorkshire

Published: 9 September 2019

Problem:

Ms parks shower room was a small out-dated suite that required a modern design update. Although her shower room was in a suitable layout for its size, she wasn’t making the most of its available space. The shower room also had limited storage cabinet and shelving, making her small shower room feel crowded.

Solution:

Following a home survey and design visit from More Bathrooms Surveyor & designer Simon, Ms Parks visited our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom. Working closely with Simon, they decided to keep the original layout whereby the basin and WC ran along the same wall as the walk-in shower.

Ms Parks’ shower room redesign included luxury wall and floor tiling, underfloor heating and the addition of practical storage solutions. Giving the shower room suite a beautiful finish whilst making better use of the existing space.

The storage solutions added included a run of semi-recessed fitted furniture that housed the basin and WC, a large mirrored bathroom cabinet and elevated glass shelving, all which blend in seamlessly with the bathroom layout and design.

Outcome:

In less than two weeks, Ms Parks’ limited shower room was transformed into a luxurious open suite with practical storage space. The modern grey colour scheme gave the shower room a contemporary update. Adding glass shelving utilised wall space whilst adding depth to the shower room. The addition of a larger mirrored cabinet reflects light whilst providing the practical storage solutions Ms Parks required. The large tile design complimented to the shower room’s original features.

What Ms Parks said about More Bathrooms:
