Modern Bathroom Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Published: 22 March 2016

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Sunley, had a very tired, baby pink, 3 piece bathroom suite that was in urgent need of refurbishing with a little TLC and modernisation. Aside from ripping out and completely refitting with new fixtures the couple were intrigued to explore the concept of incorporating a separate shower unit as well as updating what was already in situ. Everything needed replacing including the floor and wall coverings meaning we had somewhat of a blank canvas to help make Mr & Mrs Sunley’s dream bathroom a reality.

Solution:

More Bathrooms Surveyor & Designer Garry Kirkbright worked with the couple throughout the design and consultation stage to incorporate all of their wants and needs into the refurbishment of their bathroom. Having spoken in depth with the couple Garry had a good understanding of what they wanted the works to achieve and began to integrate this into the design of the new suite.

The couple made it clear from the onset that aside from achieving a modern look and feel they would love nothing more than for the bathroom to house a separate shower and bath unit which was presently combined into one – this was their number 1 dream.

Outcome:

Having weighed up all the options Garry presented the couple with a 3D design of their brand new, 4-piece, modern bathroom setting which incorporated an enclosed bath, separate low level shower enclosure, wall-hung cistern enclosed WC and large D shaped pedestal basin.

The walls were half tiled in a beige ceramic, with full tiling to the shower area and flooring. The remainder of the walls were decorated in dull cream colour scheme which complemented the couple’s tile choice. There was a large mirror placed on the far end wall adding depth to the room which was finished off with chrome fittings. The once dated bathroom was transformed into a ‘beautiful’ modern delight using our fully managed design, supply & installation service

what mr & mrs sunley said about more bathrooms:

"Beautiful bathroom. We now have the bathroom that we dreamed of, it was a big job, but the fitter Sam worked so hard and nothing phased him even when unforeseen problems cropped up. We would definitely recommend your company.”
