Small Contemporary Bathroom Renovation In Morley | More Bathrooms

Published: 25 January 2026

This small contemporary bathroom renovation in Morley shows how thoughtful design can quietly transform a space. What was once a tired, dated bathroom is now calm, practical and easy to live with designed around comfort, simplicity and everyday use.

Background

Mr and Mrs Hall got in touch when it was time to update their bathroom, following another bathroom improvement works to their home that had been delivered through the council in partnership with our team. As returning customers, they were also able to benefit from our loyalty discount. The bathroom had served them well over the years, but it was starting to feel tired and no longer reflected how they wanted the space to look or work.

Although compact, the room had plenty of potential. The layout felt dated, storage was limited, and the space lacked the calm, contemporary feel they were hoping for. With the shape of the room and everyday practicalities in mind, the design needed to be carefully thought through from the start.

Objective

Working closely with Senior Designer, Garry, the aim was to create a modern bathroom that felt comfortable, uncluttered and easy to live with. Mr and Mrs Hall wanted a larger bath with a shower over, wall-hung sanitaryware to keep the space feeling open, and new tiling throughout to give the room a fresh new feel. Just as important was having one trusted team manage the entire renovation from start to finish, giving them peace of mind throughout the process.

The Bathroom Design

Garry’s design focused on making the most of the available space while keeping the overall look clean and contemporary. The bath naturally became the focal point of the room, resized to offer greater comfort while still fitting neatly within the layout. A shower over the bath provides everyday flexibility without disrupting the flow of the space.

Wall-hung toilet and basin units were chosen to visually lift the room and keep the floor area clear, helping the bathroom feel more open than its size might suggest. This also makes day to day cleaning easier an important detail in creating a low maintenance bathroom.

Storage was carefully integrated so toiletries and essentials could be neatly tucked away, allowing the room to feel calm and clutter-free. New wall and floor tiles give the bathroom a fresh, contemporary finish that remains practical and easy to care for. A simple, timeless palette helps the space feel welcoming and relaxed rather than overdesigned.

To finish the room, attention was also given to the details that make a real difference day to day. Soft, well-placed lighting helps the space feel warm and welcoming, while efficient ventilation keeps the bathroom fresh and comfortable. Materials and fittings were chosen for their durability as well as their look, so the room doesn’t just look good now but will continue to work hard over time. Altogether, the bathroom feels easy to live with, practical, and thoughtfully designed to suit everyday life.

Once the design was finalised, Rob oversaw the project as project manager and installation surveyor, carrying out a detailed technical survey prior to any goods being ordered to ensure accuracy and a smooth installation process. The full bathroom refurbishment was then delivered by our lead fitter, Mario, who managed the installation from the removal of the existing bathroom through to the final tiling and finishing details. The project was completed with care and attention throughout, ensuring the finished space aligned perfectly with the original design intent.

The Result

The finished bathroom now feels calm, comfortable and a pleasure to use a space designed to quietly support everyday life. Thoughtful layout changes, improved storage and a clean, contemporary design have transformed what was once a tired bathroom into a room that feels balanced, welcoming and built to last.

Mr and Mrs Hall were delighted with the result and especially appreciated the peace of mind that came from having the entire project managed for them, from design through to installation.

Following completion, they left a 5-star Trustpilot review:

“Very good from beginning to end. We were consulted every step of the way; things were constantly checked to make sure we were happy and done exactly how we wanted. We would recommend them to friends and family.”
