Modern Bathroom Case Study | Bradford | West Yorkshire

Published: 18 January 2017

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Lee had an existing 4 piece suite consisting of an end-end bath, square shower cubicle and a vanity unit housing the basin and WC. Despite being nearly 20 years old the entire bathroom was in very good condition and had clearly been well looked after. What would have been an expensive investment at the time had clearly proven the reasoning behind the saying ‘you get what you pay for’.

In spite of all this, Mr & Mrs Lee were wanting to refurbish the entire suite, modernising and future proofing for what could potentially be the next 20 years.

Solution:

An absolute dream of a project, both Mr & Mrs Lee were well educated in what they wanted to achieve and why. Having spent time planning, thinking and researching there dream refurbishment the couple were delightfully influential in the overall design and fixture choice of the new suite.

Having seen some inspiring design concepts in our showroom Mr & Mrs Lee worked in a collaborative relationship with our surveyor / designer Paul, who had the pleasurable experience in turning the couples dream bathroom design into a functioning reality.

Outcome:

Without re-inventing the wheel in terms of layout and general design both Mr & Mrs Lee and More Bathrooms Surveyor / Designer Paul deserve a round of applause with regards to the modernisation of the bath come shower room. What was once a tidy space had been transformed into a stylishly modern 4 piece suite which had been further enhanced with regards to functionality thanks to the clever wall hung basin & WC choices.

Now consisting of a tiled end-end bath the statement feature of the suite was clearly the walk in wet floor shower area with built in corian bench and glass flipper screen. We can safely say both Mr & Mrs Lee were elated with the functioning design and final installation.

What Mr & Mrs Lee said about More Bathrooms:

“We would like to say how pleased we are that we decided to employ More Bathrooms to install our new bathroom. All the work was carried out with the minimum of fuss and upheaval was kept to an acceptable level.

Our particular thanks go to Chris and Dave who ensured that all our requests and wishes were met. They arrived cheerfully every morning, worked very hard, and left with a friendly goodbye at the end of the day.

We couldn't have asked for more.”
