Shower Enclosure Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Published: 10 April 2018

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Wildman had a small bathroom that, due to the existing fixtures, was made to feel even smaller than it actually was.

Featuring a p-shaped shower bath and a run of furniture that housed the WC and basin the bathroom was in great working order however, due to struggles accessing and exiting the bath, needed a future proofed, stylish and accessible, rethink.

Solution:

Fully aware of the fact that an easy access shower room conversio would be the best outcome in terms of meeting the couples wants, needs and bathing requirements, they were happy to let More Bathrooms Surveyor & Designer, Garry, lead the discussions.

Much of the initial consultation focused around ascertaining a professional’s opinion on the various options available to them so they could make an informed decision. Discussing walk-in showers, wet room showers and low level access shower enclosures in detail, whilst ensuring a modern and accessible design, allowed both Mr & Mrs Wildman to weigh up the pro’s and con’s leading them to the conclusion that an easy access shower enclosure would be the perfect fit for them, there bathroom and their needs.

Outcome:

Featuring a large corner, low level access shower enclosure with anti-slip tray, the once small and inaccessible bathroom was transformed into a spacious, warm and stylishly future proofed easy access shower room.

Containing a modular vanity basin unit and matching wall hung storage cabinet the open floor space provided the illusion of space helping to make the room feel bigger than it was. A comfort height WC was also installed to further enhance the accessible design with warm and welcoming ditto beige floor and wall tiles finishing off the overall design.
