Shower Enclosure Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Published: 6 December 2018

Problem:

Mrs Yeoman had a small bathroom, which due to the existing layout, was difficult to work with. Consisting of a bath with overhead shower, matching whisper peach basin and WC the old bathroom was made to feel even more tired as a result of being poorly ventilated which had led to an issue with damp.

Solution:

Requiring a major overhaul, and working with Mrs Yeoman to create a suitable solution, more bathrooms surveyor and designer, Simon, visited the property to discuss the wants, needs, requirements and possibilities for the renovation in more detail.

Eager to convert the existing bathroom into a shower room, to create space and future-proof the renovation, Mrs Yeoman was enthusiastic about the work and forthcoming with what she wanted the project to achieve and with that Simon began designing the room’s reconfiguration in order to make the most of the available space.

Outcome:

A once small and tired bathroom was transformed into a clever space saving shower room that, due to a significant layout change, maximised the use of floor space. With a full length level access, shower enclosure with bi-folding doors along the long wall, slim line fitted furniture was also used to conceal the semi recessed basin and WC, providing storage while hiding all pipework, making the room feel clean and tidy.

Incorporating a purpose built bench in the shower area, for shelving or seated use, a matching corian top was also applied to the furniture for a consistent sleek and stylish finish.

what mrs yeoman said about more bathrooms:

“Would like to thank Andy, Mark and the Electrician for their hard work and Simon for designing our new bathroom.”
