This small bathroom renovation transformed a cluttered, outdated space into a bright and contemporary bathroom, maximising storage while creating a cleaner, more spacious feel.

> Semi-recessed fitted furniture maximising storage
> P-shaped shower bath enhancing the showering space
> Warm oak and beige finishes creating a welcoming feel
> Fully project-managed design and installation

Problem:

Mr and Mrs O’Flaherty had a small bathroom that was severely cluttered due to the significant lack of storage. Wanting to make better use of the existing space, while updating the suite to create a more modern look and feel, the couple initially started the project looking to manage it themselves, sourcing their preferred products and relevant tradespeople.

After months of shopping around it was decided that the product choice was too broad for them to design the renovation themselves. Similarly the tradespeople too difficult to co-ordinate and with that decided to look for a full service turnkey provider like ourselves to offer a stress-free, hassle free and professional experience.

Solution:

Finding us online, and living locally from our Leeds Bathroom Showroom, Mr & Mrs O’Flaherty, booked a free design, survey and quote appointment with More Bathrooms Surveyor and Designer, Garry. Visiting the couple at their home Garry first sought to offer help and advice with regards to assisting the couple with their conundrum of choice, working from problem through to solution.

With space being the primary issues, secondary to the lack of storage, Garry proposed cleaning up the look of the bathroom through the creation of space and maximising potential storage solutions by suggesting a run of semi-recessed fitted furniture which would house the basin and WC.

Outcome:

Wanting to retain a bath it made logical sense to incorporate a P-shaped shower bath that offered a larger showering area for an enhanced experience. With the inclusion of the semi-recessed fitted furniture within the new bathroom layout meant a much cleaner and less cluttered design. Opting for a warm and homely colour scheme the light oak and beige shadings lent themselves perfectly to creating a modern and effortless small bathroom renovation.

what mr & mrs o'flaherty said about more bathrooms:

“After several months shopping around in the hope of organising our bathroom refit myself, I had to concede it was too complicated - cue More Bathrooms! Their showroom is just around the corner from us and has some lovely bathrooms on show of all different styles, and there were a couple that really stood out to us that made us think they could deliver what we wanted.

They have been reliable throughout - we dealt with a few people, and they always kept in touch and let us know what was going on. I was particularly impressed that they bent over backwards to fit the design within our budget when we asked, with relatively little compromise.

The bathroom itself was finished to a good standard and looks really stunning overall - it's a pleasure to use now, rather than a constant niggle before! The chap who did the work, Craig, was lovely and kept a tidy house and gave me daily updates on the progress and what was planned to do each day.”
