Problem

Mr & Mrs Blizzard’s small and dated 3-piece shower room consisted of a quadrant shower enclosure, basin and WC. Wanting a modern design update and to make better use of their available space Mr & Mrs Blizzard hoped to install a new enclosed shower with additional storage for their amenities.

Design Solution

Upon booking a free design appointment online for a More Bathrooms Senior Designer to visit their home and survey their shower room, Mr & Mrs Blizzard were visited by Senior Designer Simon.

Simon discussed in depth with Mr & Mrs Blizzard their design wants and bathroom needs including the variety of Shower room enclosures available alongside providing a provisional quote dependant to their fixture and fitting choices.

Happy to go ahead, Simon created a modern shower room enclosure design with a new layout to make better use of their available space.

Simon then invited Mr & Mrs Blizzard to our Leeds Bathroom showroom to present them with a detailed CAD design allowing them to envision their upgraded shower room enclosure. Simon also assisted them in choosing their final fixtures and fittings.

Shower Room Enclosure Installation

A stylish shower room enclosure, basin and back to wall WC with concealed cistern was installed by More Bathrooms Multi-skilled fitter Colin.

The layout of the shower room was changed by moving the shower enclosure and basin to the opposite corners of the room to make better use of the bathroom, space, shape and size.

Bathroom finishing touches included the installation of stunning grey and silver large ceramic matching wall and floor bathroom tiles. A rectangle mirror was also installed to help bounce light around the room, creating the illusion of more space.

To create additional space for Mr & Mrs Blizzard’s bathroom amenities the installation of additional bathroom Storage furniture included a contemporary grey vanity basin unit alongside the creation of a shelf in the shower area.

Heating and ventilation choices included the installation of a heated towel rail allowing Mr & Mrs Blizzard to warm their towels whilst showering and the installation of a low energy extractor fan.

Outcome

A small and dated shower room enclosure was transformed into a modern shower room enclosure with additional contemporary storage solutions.
