Shower Room Enclosure Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Problem:

Mrs Harding’s small and dated en-suite 3-piece shower room consisted of an enclosed shower, WC and small basin.

Wanting to make better use of the limited space, she hoped to give her shower room a modern design update.

Design Solution:

Following a recommendation from a friend and previous More Bathrooms customer, Mrs Harding booked a free design appointment for a Senior Designer to visit her home, survey her shower room and discuss shower room options.

Mrs Harding was then visited by Senior Designer Garry who discussed in depth with her shower room designs, shower room enclosure options and how her space can be better used to make room for the installation of a toilet. Garry also provided her with a provisional quote dependent on her fixture and fitting choices.

Happy to go ahead, Garry used his expertise and knowledge to create a bespoke shower room enclosure design based on her shower room wants and needs.

Garry then invited Mrs Harding to our Leeds Bathroom Showroom to present her with a detailed CAD design allowing her to envision her upgraded shower room, alongside assisting her with selecting her final fixtures and fittings.

Shower Room Enclosure Installation:

A modern shower room enclosure, wall hung basin with built in vanity unit and space saving back to wall toilet was installed by More Bathrooms multi skilled fitter Carl.

Contemporary bathroom finishing touches included installation of stunning grey marble effect wall boards, grey vinyl flooring and beige wall hung heated towel rail.

A large mirror was also installed creating the illusion of a bigger shower room by bouncing light around the room.

Outcome:

A small dated en-suite shower room was transformed into a modern shower room enclosure with contemporary finishing touches

What Mrs Harding said about More Bathrooms:

I have just had my shower room completely refitted and am delighted with the result. When I go in there I feel I am in a hotel!

The design service beforehand was excellent, as was the actual fitting. Carl (my fitter) couldn’t have been more kind and considerate; I know I am not an easy customer.

The work threw up some unexpected challenges because of the way this house was converted to flats ages ago, but Carl surmounted them. He worked extremely hard and remained cheerful. He also took all due care Covid - wise with distancing, sanitising etc. so I am glad I had the shower room done at this time despite reservations because of the pandemic.
