Bespoke Wet Room Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Published: 25 October 2021

Before:

Mrs Cameron’s small and dated 3-piece bathroom consisted of a blue bath, basin and WC.

Now preferring a shower over a bath and wanting a modern design update, Mrs Cameron hoped to find a way to adapt her bathroom into a shower room with the limited space available.

Design Solution:

Following a recommendation from a friend and previous More Bathrooms customer Mrs Cameron booked a free design appointmentonline to arrange for a More Bathrooms Senior Designer to visit her home survey her bathroom and provide a preliminary design and provisional quote subject to Mrs Cameron’s final fixture and fitting choices.

Visited by Senior Designer Garry, Mrs Cameron discussed in depth her bathroom desires including removal of an unused bath and installation of a shower and modernising her current bathroom design.

Garry then measured the space available within the bathroom and used his extensive bathroom knowledge and expertise to create a bespoke wet room design, which was the best shower room option suited for the small bathroom.

With Mrs Cameron happy to go ahead with the design ideas Garry invited her to our Leeds Bathroom Showroom to present a detailed CAD design allowing her to visualise her new wet room. Garry also assisted Mrs Cameron with choosing her wet room fixtures and fitting.

Wet Room Installation:

A spacious wet room with glass shower screen was installed by Multi-skilled fitter Paul.

Trendy bathroom sanitary ware included the installation of space saving back to wall toilet and wall hung basin.

A bright and airy feel was created with the installation of beige vinyl flooring and low maintenance wall boards. A large mirror was also installed to help bounce light around the room and create the illusion of a bigger space.

A contemporary heated towel rail was fit to make better use of unused wall space and to allow Mrs Cameron to use a warm her towel whilst she showers.

Outcome:

A small and dated bathroom was transformed into a spacious wet room with contemporary fixtures and fittings.
