Bespoke Wet Room Case Study | Leeds | More Bathrooms

Problem

Mrs. Howard’s family bathroom was dated. The bathroom needed a complete revamp, the previous design was a traditional shell-shaped bathroom consisting of a bath with an overhead shower, basin, and toilet the ceiling was also wooden.

Mrs. Howard wanted to completely change her bathroom from the traditional plan to a modern design and replace the bath with a bespoke wet room.

Design Solution

Recommended by her son Steve who had his bathroom renovated by More Bathrooms. Mrs. Howard was impressed by the job done. She decided to get in touch with us to book a free design appointment for a More Bathrooms designer to visit their home, survey, and design her bathroom.

Garry visited Mrs. Howard’s home to discuss with her in-depth, any early ideas, requirements, and needs for the bathroom space. Garry also offered his expert advice and guidance as he and Mrs. Howard went through various design options to see if they could install her desired bespoke wet room and best utilise the bathroom space.

Garry measured the bathroom space and used his vast bathroom knowledge and expertise to create CAD design images for the modern, bespoke wet room, with a wall-hung basin. The proposed design also consisted of a wall-hung WC.

To complement the CAD design images Garry produced a detailed quote that depended on Mrs. Howards’ bathroom finishing touches , all of which could be chosen and agreed upon when she visits Leeds Bathroom Showroom.

Mrs. Howard was presented with detailed CAD design images of what her new family’s bespoke wet room would look like. Garry also guided her around the showroom to assist her in picking the final fixtures and fittings for her new bespoke wet room.

Bespoke Wet Room Installation

Mrs. Howard’s new bespoke wet room was fit by our multi-skilled fitter Martin. The new bespoke wet room design was completely different from the previous layout as the bath was taken out, and replaced with a purpose-built semi-recessed unit that would enclose all waste pipes & plumbing, leaving a maintenance-free flush finish.

The box work had a seek white soft grey marble tiling which enhanced the modern design and created housing for the semi pedestal and wall-hung basin.

The new level access shower was installed with a glass flipper screen and beautiful grey wallboards were installed inside the shower, matching the non-slip vinyl flooring that was laid out throughout the shower room.

Outcome

A dated bathroom was transformed into a bespoke wet room with modern fixtures and fittings.
