Modern shower room enclosure installation case study | Leeds | More Bathrooms

Published: 24 February 2023

Problem

Mr. and Mrs. Machell had an existing bathroom consisting of a shower cubicle, basin, and WC. The bathroom design was also tiled throughout. The couple wanted to renovate their bathroom and started to explore their options.

Solution

They began browsing on the internet for a reputable company within West Yorkshire who could deliver them with a refurbished bathroom. Mr. and Mrs. Machell came across More Bathrooms and understood our full design and fit service offering. Confident we could deliver this they contacted us with a view to book a free design appointment.

Senior Designer Julie visited the couple to discuss their reasons for change and if they were facing any challenges with the current design. As part of the conversation, they also discussed potential ideas Mr. and Mrs. Machell had.

Listening to their ideas they mentioned that they would like to replace the existing window, and lighting and suggested that, if possible, to have slimline furniture due to the restricting available space. After seeing the Corian bench display at our Leeds Bathroom Showroom they wanted to see if it was possible to install a similar design, and also liked the idea of having wallboards as they are easy to clean and maintain.

In addition to their suggestions, they were open to ideas from Julie who has a wealth of experience within the bathroom design industry. Incorporating their ideas, Julie suggested an extended quadrant enclosure was the best option for the room as it would provide them with a larger showering area. Another suggestion from Julie was to move the basin to another wall and add a vanity unit.

The couple had no preference for style or colour scheme to which Julie proposed a balanced contrast mixture of white and grey features throughout the design.

Delighted with the onsite design meeting, Julie invited the couple for a second appointment at our Leeds Bathroom Showroom. During the 2nd appointment, Julie presented Mr. and Mrs. Machell with detailed CAD images, to help them envision how the new shower room would look. Thrilled with the images, Julie assisted them in picking their bathroom finishing touches all of which resulted in an order.

Modern Shower Room Enclosure Installation

A bathroom was taken out and transformed into a beautiful Modern shower room enclosure showcasing stunning grey and white bathroom features. The new shower room was fit by our multi-skilled fitter Mario.

An extended quadrant shower enclosure was fit with stunning grey tiling installed throughout the entire bathroom area. Alongside the new shower, a stunning grey flush vanity basin was also installed.

A new rimless WC was fit as part of a concealed unit to hide all the pipe work and for the bathroom to retain its beauty. To conclude the modern design, a graphite grey wall-hung towel rail was fit to retain heat within the bathroom space but also compliment the grey aesthetics.

Outcome

An existing bathroom was stripped out and transformed into shower room enclosure fit with ultra-modern grey features throughout.
