Modern Family Bathroom Transformation | Bramham | More Bathrooms

Published: 19 November 2024

Renovation Brief:

Mrs. McElwaine sought to transform her four-piece bathroom into a more functional space for her teenage boys. The primary goal was to include a larger shower while maximising the room's overall usability. The existing layout left much to be desired in terms of practicality and modern appeal, prompting a full redesign.

Bathroom Design:

Senior Designer Angela worked closely with Mrs. McElwaine to reimagine the space. After discussing the family’s needs, preferences, and style aspirations, Angela proposed a bespoke wet room concept for the shower. This custom-built solution provided an optimally sized shower area while achieving a streamlined, contemporary aesthetic.

The new layout included a four-piece suite comprising a bath, the bespoke wet room shower, a sleek vanity basin unit, and closed coupled WC. While the WC remained in its original location, the rest of the fixtures were repositioned to improve flow and functionality.

The wet room shower, tailored to the room’s dimensions, offered ample space and accessibility, catering perfectly to the needs of teenage users. The bath added a touch of luxury, balancing the room’s practical elements with elegance.

To create a striking yet cohesive look, Angela opted for a modern aesthetic with contrasting tiles. Lighter hues were used on the walls to brighten the space, while darker tiles on the floor created depth and visual interest. This combination delivered a bold and stylish finish that was both practical and easy to maintain for a busy family bathroom.

Bathroom Installation:

Once the design was finalised, our Installations Surveyor, Joe, conducted a meticulous survey to ensure every detail was accounted for. His precision paved the way for an efficient and smooth installation process.

Multi-skilled fitter Martin brought Angela’s vision to life with expert craftsmanship. From installing the bespoke wet room shower to perfectly tiling the room, Martin ensured every detail was executed to the highest standard. The fully project-managed service meant Mrs. McElwaine could relax, knowing the project was in expert hands.

Customer Trust Pilot Review:

Mrs. McElwaine shared her delight with the finished project, leaving this glowing review on TrustPilot:

"Fantastic company with superbly skilled staff. Would definitely use them again."

Conclusion:

This modern family bathroom transformation highlights the impact of thoughtful design and skilled execution. Angela’s expertise in creating a bespoke solution, coupled with Joe’s meticulous surveying and Martin’s quality installation, delivered a functional and stylish space that perfectly suits the McElwaine family’s needs. The result is a modern bathroom that blends practicality with elegance, providing a comfortable and attractive space for years to come.
