Luxury Bathroom Transformation in Leeds | More Bathrooms

Published: 5 December 2025

Renovation Brief

After discovering More Bathrooms online, Mrs Jackson visited our Leeds Bathroom Showroom to explore ideas for creating a more luxurious and spacious bathroom. She explained to Showroom Consultant Tom that her existing bathroom was extremely small and unable to accommodate the high-end features she desired. She wanted both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower but wasn’t sure what could realistically be achieved within the constraints of her home.

Tom took the time to understand her requirements and arranged a design appointment with Senior Designer Angela to explore how a luxury bathroom design and installation could transform her space.

During Angela’s visit, it became clear that the existing bathroom footprint simply wasn’t large enough for the luxury features Mrs Jackson wanted. To achieve her vision, it was suggested that converting an existing bedroom—currently her husband’s music room—into a brand-new, spacious bathroom would offer the space required. Embracing the idea, Angela was given complete freedom to design a bespoke layout that incorporated the key requirements of a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower, ample storage and a semi-traditional aesthetic.

Luxury Bathroom Design

With the larger room now dedicated to the renovation, Angela created a bespoke luxury bathroom design that fully reflected Mrs Jackson’s aspirations. The final CAD designs capture the elegance and practicality of the proposed layout.

The freestanding bath became a standout focal point, positioned to make the most of the room’s length and natural light. To complement the bath and add timeless character, Angela introduced traditional-style wall panelling around the lower half of the room.

Above the panelling, a bold botanical wallpaper in rich navy tones with warm oranges and greens created a dramatic yet inviting backdrop—a design choice that gives this luxury bathroom in Leeds a distinctive personality.

The spacious walk-in shower was finished with contemporary stone-effect wall boards, offering a sleek, low-maintenance alternative to tiling. The glass screen enhances the sense of space and allows the textures and colours in the room to remain visually connected.

To maximise storage, Angela designed a run of fitted bathroom furniture beneath a durable countertop, neatly housing the basin and WC. The dark cabinetry complements the wallpaper and panelling, giving the bathroom a cohesive and high-end finish. A circular backlit mirror, and floating shelves above the bath, added modern touches that elevate the entire room.

The design strikes a balance between contemporary luxury and semi-traditional charm, resulting in a refined and beautifully coordinated bathroom.

Bathroom Installation

Once the luxury bathroom design was agreed, Installations Surveyor Joe conducted a detailed technical survey to ensure the new layout was fully achievable. The installation was completed by Multi-Skilled Fitter Dean, supported by Ryan and the wider Leeds installation team.

The room presented several challenges, including uneven walls, but Dean and Ryan approached each issue with expert craftsmanship. They worked meticulously to align the panelling, wallpaper, fitted furniture and shower components to create a flawless finish. Their dedication—even working into the evening when required—ensured the luxury bathroom installation met the highest standards.

Throughout the project, every team member involved demonstrated the professionalism and attention to detail that More Bathrooms is known for across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire conurbation.

Project Outcome & Conclusion

The completed transformation is remarkable. By converting a bedroom into a new bathroom, Mrs Jackson now enjoys a luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed room that feels entirely bespoke. The freestanding bath, walk-in shower, traditional panelling, bold wallpaper and modern furniture work together seamlessly to create a stunning, high-end bathroom space.
